Rollink Luggage Quality Testing

Rollink is committed to the highest quality standards and every production cycle is rigorously tested to ensure it’s built to last. Tests are usually performed with fully loaded luggage which is 55lbs for checked size and 33lbs for carry-on size. Below you can find the checklist of tests we perform for each production cycle to ensure we walk the talk when speaking about durability of our foldable luggage.

Spinner Wheel Milage Test

Rest assured that you can go miles with your Rollink through cobblestone streets or long airports. That is why we test it by attaching the luggage on a bumpy conveyor belt for 20 mph to evaluate 4 wheels for their rotational movements and endurance.

Zipper Test

We know that you want to bring as many outfits as possible to your next destination, so we got you covered for your next overpacking by performing the ultimate zipper test. It is done by moving the zipper up and down 1,000 consecutive times with the side pulling force of 4lbs.

Tumble Test

Tumbling of the luggage is often a case in transport which is why we made sure to test fully loaded luggage (55lbs) for maximum hard impact in a rotating chamber full of obstacles. Rotation cycle is repeated for 25 cycles.

Luggage Drop Test

Regardless if you accidentally drop it down the stairs, or if it goes through extreme cases in baggage handling, we made sure to test all 8 corners by dropping the luggage from the height of 2ft. This testing process is repeated 3 times.

Trolley Pull Test

We are aware that there are often cases of the improper use of the luggage such as pulling it fully packed by its handle when we feel lazy. This test is performed by pulling the trolley up and down in fully loaded condition 400 times to make sure we got you covered.
